Mabon Autumnal Equinox Celebration
Priestessed by Rev. Jessica
September 11th, 2021 at 6 pm MST (8 pm EST) via Zoom
Welcome Sister,

On September 22nd (the day of Autumnal Equinox) the ~ Sun and the Moon~, the ~light and the darkness~, the ~God and Goddess~ will come into perfect balance. It is just twice a year we have an opportunity to connect our present with our past, our today with tomorrow, and make adjustments to balance our own scales in harmony with the energies of the season. In the Northern hemisphere the Moon will gradually become more powerful and our shadows closer to the fore as the veils between worlds thins. Soon, our shadow warriors will begin to offer us opportunities to end bad habits, perpetual cycles, addictions, and all those gritty things lurking around in the darker aspects of our souls.
To do ahead of time: fall cleaning, decorate your home or front door for fall, collect seeds and pinecones, go apple picking, or create a Mabon altar
To think about ahead of time: cycles you are ready to release and/or no longer willing to carry, addictions or harmful behaviors, anything you feel guilt or shame over, whatever cords you would like severed (if you feel triggered while doing this -- STOP-- call a friend, family member, clergy, or counselor -- do not repeat without professional counsel)

One year Anniversary today of being in the Red Tent!
Amazing how a life can transform in 365 days! Thank you all for your support, power, insight and love which you so freely give.
I am one very grateful heart! ~ Mary Radulescu, September 2021
To maximize your experience, the day of: prepare a nice comfy place to sit or lie down during the meditation and have your journal readily available to record any insights you may have throughout the duration of our gathering. It is wise and helpful to create a sacred quiet space, free from distractions, so you are able to be fully present in the Temple of the Goddess.
Activities include:
To have on hand: piece of blank paper or small poster board, collage and coloring supplies i.e. felt or gel pens, colored pencils, crayons, craft paint, paint brushes, stickers, glue stick, glue gun, glitter, magazines, advertisements, pictures or images of experiences for your highlight reel, dried flowers from a special occasion, etc. ***Decide early What you would like to create your Highlight Reel on. This may be as simple as a piece of printer paper or as fancy as parchment. You may also consider creating the collage in your journal, on heavy paper or canvas, fabric or a pillow. Consider adding a feather to your ceremonial preparation, as we will be doing some feather magic. It is not necessary to have a feather on hand, and I know some of you will want to be able to have the experience for yourself. FWIW: Turkey feathers are wonderfully suited to become imbued with the energies we imbue onto/into them. Think of Turkey feathers as similar to clear quartz crystal -- they are programable. Join me on Saturday, September 11th, to celebrate the living we have done through Spring and Summer and to leave the dead weight behind to compost as we descend into darkness over the next 91 days. Come celebrate our Maiden and Mother forms as we welcome the Crone ~Wise Woman~ aspect of our Souls. |

What is Red Tent?
Each Tent offered is an opportunity to enter the Temple of the Goddess. A Divine honor and privilege to be alive in a place and space in time where we are safe and free to gather. Together, we are healing our wounds of suffering and silence from the past. As we heal, our healing ripples across time and space reaching through the portal of time. To be seen by the Goddess and witnessed by our Sisters is more powerful than you can imagine!

The Red Tent, by Anita Diamant, is the book that has inspired a Global Movement. Women who read this book unlock an ancient memory and longing to gather with other women and remember who they are as sacred and holy vessels of Spirit.
There is also a wonderful documentary officially endorsed under Nectar of Life Counseling called Things We Don't Talk About: Women's Stories from the Red Tent.
Not sure about how Christianity and the Goddess can co-exist?
Dance of the Dissident Daughter, by Sue Monk Kidd, opens long hidden secrets of what was dissolved from scripture through intentional acts of erasing the value and importance of women. The research has already been expertly done by a self-proclaimed conventionally religious woman.
