Dream Like an Egyptian
Priestessed by Alayna McKee
January 9th, 2020 at 6 pm MST (8 pm EST) via Zoom
Welcome Sister,

Thank you for your interest in becoming part of our beautiful community of women and Sacred Sisterhood. Our January gathering is priestessed by our magical dream enchantress, Alayna Mckee. We invite you to come rest in the Temple as Alayna takes us on a dream journey into the realm of Egyptian culture. The Ancient Egyptians believed that the gods speak to us in dreams.
Alayna has studied with Robert Moss for many years and shares, in his book The Secret History of Dreaming, he writes the Egyptian word for dream “rswt” comes from a root word meaning “to awaken.”
The Ancient Egyptians practiced dream incubation for healing and guidance. They paid close attention to indications around the possible future that came through dreams. By recalling and working with dreams they tapped into past and future lives. We will touch upon these themes in our gathering and through learning to develop our active imagination open the way and create the beginnings of our own magic library within the dream world. “Opener of the ways, guide me safely between the worlds this night and open my eyes to the knowledge I need now.”

What is Red Tent?
Each Tent offered is an opportunity to enter the Temple of the Goddess. A Divine honor and privilege to be alive in a place and space in time where we are safe and free to gather. Together, we are healing our wounds of suffering and silence from the past. As we heal, our healing ripples across time and space reaching through the portal of time. To be seen by the Goddess and witnessed by our Sisters is more powerful than you can imagine!

The Red Tent, by Anita Diamant, is the book that has inspired a Global Movement. Women who read this book unlock an ancient memory and longing to gather with other women and remember who they are as sacred and holy vessels of Spirit.
There is also a wonderful documentary I officially endorse under Nectar of Life Counseling called Things We Don't Talk About: Women's Stories from the Red Tent.
Not sure about how Christianity and the Goddess can co-exist?
Dance of the Dissident Daughter, by Sue Monk Kidd, opens long hidden secrets of what was dissolved from scripture through intentional acts of erasing the value and importance of women. The research has already been expertly done by a self-proclaimed conventionally religious woman.
